Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lightly coat each side in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken to a plate.
- Reduce skillet heat to medium. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, then add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it begins to thicken into a glossy glaze.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the rich honey garlic sauce over the top until beautifully coated. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
